A research project entitled “Investigating Role of Bacterial Polysaccharide (glucan) in Modulation of Insulin Signaling using Celegans as a Model System” has been awarded as Start up research grant by the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. A research project entitled “Mechanism of Anastasis in Cancer Cells: Its Impact in Disease Relapse and Therapy” has also been granted under DST SERB Young scientist Award programme. Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt. of India has sanctioned three projects under Women Scientist Scheme during 2011-12.
